Apple today announced a major update to its Vision Pro headset at WWDC 2026. The second-generation device is 30% lighter, features a new M5 chip, and costs $1,000 less than the original.
The new model addresses key criticisms of the first generation, including weight and battery life. Apple claims the new device can run for 4 hours on a single charge, up from 2 hours previously.
Developers will also gain access to new visionOS APIs for more immersive experiences.
